Site Install Guide
Use this document as the master checklist for deploying Northstar Show Systems at a new venue. Complete each section in order. Fill in venue-specific details in the tables below.

Pre-install checklist
- Helm mini PC provisioned with Windows 10/11 Pro, HelmOS installed as service
- Travel router configured (SSID: TRUENORTH, subnet 10.0.0.0/24, DHCP 10.0.0.10–250)
- Bridge assembled and tested (all 6 buttons + 6 LEDs verified)
- All Polaris nodes flashed with NorthLink firmware and labeled per brand guide
- nodes.json authored in Compose and validated with dry-run upload
- Ethernet cable for Helm-to-router connection
- USB A-to-C cable for Helm-to-Bridge connection
- iPad charged with Cuemaster bookmarked at http://10.0.0.1:3000

Startup verification
- Power on the travel router. Confirm TRUENORTH SSID is visible.
- Power on Helm. Confirm static IP 10.0.0.1 on wired NIC.
- Connect Bridge via USB. Confirm Server Running LED (D12) is solid.
- Power on all Polaris nodes. Wait 30 seconds for DHCP and Wi-Fi association.
- Open Cuemaster on iPad (http://10.0.0.1:3000). Confirm all nodes show as online (green).
- Press Show Start on Bridge. Confirm Show Start LED (D8) lights and boot sequence fires.
- Press Show Stop on Bridge. Confirm all sequences cancel and show state returns to STOPPED.
- Press Show Reset on Bridge. Confirm 5-second reset window (yellow flash on D10), then STOPPED.
- Turn maintenance key switch ON. Confirm Maintenance LED (D11) lights and Show Start is blocked.
- Turn maintenance key switch OFF. Confirm normal operation resumes.
