Supported Browsers
| Specification | Value |
|---|---|
| Chrome | 120 or newer |
| Edge | 120 or newer |
| Firefox | 121 or newer |
| Safari | 17 or newer |
Cuemaster relies on these modern features:
- WebSocket
- Fetch API
- CSS Grid and Flexbox
- ES2020 JavaScript (no transpilation)
- FileReader + ArrayBuffer for show-loader uploads
Tablet Recommendations
- iPad (9th generation or newer) running Safari 17+
- Android tablet running Chrome 120+ (Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ class hardware)
- Windows tablet (Surface Go 3 or newer) running Edge 120+
Display Recommendations
- 10-inch diagonal or larger — Cuemaster's Maintenance HMI has wide tables
- Landscape orientation preferred
- Brightness adjustable down for low-light operator booths
Touchscreen Behaviour
- All interactive elements meet 44×44 pt minimum touch target
- Long-press for tooltips on small icons
- Maintenance Mode toggle requires both a physical key AND a Ctrl+Shift+Alt+M shortcut — operator-grade tablets typically lack a hardware keyboard, so plan to enter Maintenance from the Bridge key
Network Requirements
The tablet must be on the same network as HelmOS. WebSocket and HTTP traffic flow over standard TCP on port 3000 (configurable). No special firewall rules are required on the tablet side beyond outbound TCP 3000.
